Operation and maintenance expenses

A predefined percentage (the Project’s maintenance fee) of the recurring income of every Project will be transferred to the Reserve’s maintenance and operation fund, whose purpose is to accumulate funds used specifically to pay for expenses related to the operation of the Projects, such as operation licenses and other charges, and maintenance, such as cleaning of the solar modules, grass cutting, replacement of damaged or defective solar modules, electrical fuses, and so on.

It is important to note that the maintenance and operation fund is common to all the Projects that are part of the Reserve, allowing to lower chances of a Project going out of operation. The maintenance fee of a Project can be modified by submitting a proposal and voting, in case that the Project’s contribution to the maintenance and operation fund is insufficient to cover the Project’s own expenses.
